It is one of the first non-state higher education institutions established in Uzbekistan.

Our university's student education categories include academic education and non-academic education. Academic education includes undergraduate and graduate degrees; non-academic education includes English, Chinese, Korean, Russian language courses, various short-term training courses. The basic study period for four-year undergraduate courses is 4 years, and for part-time courses, 5 years. The main period of study in the ordinary master's degree is 2 years.

Currently, there are 23 such as elementary education, pedagogy and psychology, linguistics and foreign language teaching, accounting and auditing, tourism management, economic management, world economy and international economic relations, finance, information systems and technologies, logistics, marketing. There are 3 undergraduate courses and 3 graduate courses.

English, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Korean, German, Spanish, French and other foreign languages are taught at the university. In the future, it is planned to open separate faculties of English language, Chinese language philology and translation.

Based on the advantages of Tashkent University of Humanities and the constantly growing needs for personnel training during the transition to a market economy, it cooperates with foreign higher education institutions on "respect for national and universal values, common use of resources, relying on the principles of complementary advantages, mutually beneficial cooperation and joint development" and establishing mutual cooperation in accordance with the management rules for the admission of international students.

TGFU promotes internationalization of higher education on the basis of "peace and cooperation, openness and tolerance, mutual learning, mutual benefit", cooperation in the field of education with domestic and foreign higher education institutions. is creating a platform of cooperation in order to create an educational system for deepening, joint training of qualified personnel and education of undergraduate students in social, economic and management fields.

Students of our university have the opportunity to study not only in our country, but also abroad. In particular, students studying at the bachelor's level are sent to study abroad on the basis of a grant after the second year. They can continue their studies in China, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Russia, Italy and a number of other foreign countries.

Tashkent University of Humanities cooperates with many foreign higher education institutions. Every year, talented students are sent to partner universities abroad to study on a grant basis.

Each applicant has the opportunity to choose the direction of his interest in our university and get quality education in comfortable and modern conditions. They become mature experts in their field.

More than 5,000 students are currently studying at Tashkent University of Humanities. More than 80 teachers-pedagogues work. The administrative building of the university is located in Tashkent, there are Tortkol and Samarkand campuses.

An education development fund and language and culture research centers have also been opened at the university. In addition, our university has Chinese, Korean, English and Russian language preparation courses. The main goal of the educational development fund is to encourage and financially support university teachers and students, to support the scientific and creative activities of pedagogues and students, to publish textbooks, to allocate scholarships. and organization of various spiritual and educational events, etc.

We are about to start the construction of "Tashkent University of Humanities Tashkent Campus". It is planned to build educational buildings, a library, a university school and a kindergarten, a stadium, teachers' and students' dormitories, kitchens, a supermarket and other buildings on the territory of this educational town. Our main goal is to create the best working environment for teachers and the best learning environment for students.
