🟢 At the initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the official launch of the tree-planting marathon in the “Intellectuals’ Garden” was held at the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute as part of the nationwide “Green Space” project.

🌳 The opening ceremony, held in a festive and inspiring atmosphere, was attended by Akmal Savurboyev, Deputy Governor of Jizzakh Region, officials of the Ministry led by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Qo‘ng‘irotboy Sharipov, heads of regional departments and higher education institutions, and nearly 2,000 volunteer students. At the same time, the Ministry’s central office and the teams of all vocational and higher education institutions joined the event online from studios located in all 14 regions of the country.

🌳 During the spring season, a total of 648,000 tree saplings are planned to be planted in 200 higher education institutions under the Ministry’s system. On March 15 alone, more than 30,000 saplings were planted across the country, and “Intellectuals’ Gardens” were established.

🌳 As part of the event held under the slogan “These Gardens Will Become Truly Remarkable Gardens...”, 1,700 tree saplings were planted on a 1.5-hectare area of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute.

🌳 This initiative contributes to the creation of green spaces in higher education institutions and promotes environmental awareness and ecological culture among students and young people.
